About Partifier: extract score parts

Ever opened a full score and wished you had the individual parts? Now you do — in seconds.

Partifier turns full ensemble scores into clean, ready-to-play parts for each instrument. Whether you’re prepping for rehearsal, teaching, or just want your own part without the clutter, Partifier makes it fast, smart, and effortless.

How it works:
1. Import your PDF score.
2. Tell Partifier what parts you need and how many staves each one has.
3. Let the app do the magic — automatic detection splits everything up.

You can fine-tune things if you want: tap a staff to adjust, or use the optional smart-tap mode to auto-assign with a single touch.

Make it your own:
• Customize layout for each part: spacing, size, title, positioning.
• Add bar numbers anywhere you need them.
• Preview and tweak as needed.

Export with ease:
• Get clean, high-quality PDFs for each part.
• Perfect for using with your sheet music reader app, printing or sharing with your group.

No more highlighters. No more manual cropping. Just the parts you need — neat, simple, and ready to go.

Unusable

I was a happy user of partifi.org for years but, unfortunately, it is no longer available. I hoped that this app would be a reasonable replacement. I got the version MacOS app. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. I created too many parts but when I try to delete the extra part, the app crashes. What’s more, even when I open a clean copy of the score, it still has the extra part. When I try to rename a part, it renames a different part from the one selected. As other reviewers have pointed out, you can’t open a file from the file menu. You can sort of work around that by starting the app and then dropping the score PDF onto the app icon. But opening and saving files is a basic and essential feature of any app — this app should not have been allowed in the App Store given that it cannot even do that. I’m sorry I spent $7 on this app.

Not a Great Score

There is always a reason why you don’t see reviews on YouTube on an app. In this case, it a great idea, but thats as far as it goes. When you’re done extracting the parts your chart looks like you cut the parts with a scissor and glued them to sheet of paper. Also, you have to be aware of how many measures you copy or else you end up with portrait layout. There is a lot of room for improvement. I would not recommend this app, maybe in a few years. Don’t be fooled by the video, its not as easy as it seems.
