About My Brain Butler

Brain Butler manages all of your recurring tasks, not based on a set day on the calendar, but based on when you did them last. For all those things you do on a regular interval, both long and short, your Brain Butler remembers when you did them last and reminds you when it is time to do them again. Your Brain Butler also allows you to bump tasks out if you need a little more time, knowing they won’t be forgotten.

Recurring tasks are endless and it’s hard and stressful to try to remember when you did them last and when it’s time to do them again. Your Brain Butler remembers so you can rest easy.

Water the plants, schedule a date night, pay bills, call an old friend, rotate your tires; these are things you need to do regularly and you don’t want to forget. But if you put them on a set day on your calendar and don’t get to them that specific day it’s likely you’ll forget. You want to get a reminder based on when you did them last so you do them again at the exact right time. That is Brain Butler.

Use Brain Butler for both shorter and longer recurring tasks. Give the dog its pill every 3 days or review your insurance coverage every 3 years. Your Brain Butler remembers and makes sure you don’t forget.

The Home tab is where all of your current tasks due appear. When you check them off as being complete, Brain Butler remembers. It then reminds you to do them again on the frequency you choose.

If a task comes due and you need a little more time, there is an easy bump button which allows you to give yourself some more time. Your task is off the current list, but not forgotten. It will come back to you just when you decided it was right.

Didn’t get to something right away? Your task stays on your home tab until you do it or bump it to give yourself some more time. Didn’t get to something for a week? No problem. Your Brain Butler remembers when you did it last and reminds you again based on that last date.

The My Tasks tab has all of the tasks you have created in due date order. Scroll forward to see tasks that are coming due in the future. Did you take care of something early? No problem. Just mark it as complete today and the task will come back to you at the frequency you’ve selected based on today’s date.

Set an optional start and end date for tasks that reoccur only during a set season. Don’t need a two-week reminder to mow the lawn during winter in Minnesota? Set it to recur every two weeks between April and October. When October arrives it will stop reminding you until next April.

Go to the Browse tab to see sample ideas of tasks that you might find important. These are just suggestions. You can customize your tasks with as many as you’d like.

And the best part of Brain Butler -- SIMPLICITY. The app is easy to set up and straightforward to use. It does one thing and one thing well, which is remembering all of your recurring tasks. It does not try to interface with every other app on your phone and does not try to connect to every “smart” device in your home. It is a standalone app that remembers all of those important recurring tasks in your life and helps you make sure to get them done.

You can get a free trial of Brain Butler for the first 30 days. After that In App purchase pricing and rules will apply.
