Restaurants will allow guests to check-in from the app to limit overcrowding and maintain proper social distancing requirements. The range of distance a guest can check-in varies from one establishment to the next. It may be as close as the parking lot or they can select a larger radius.
The platform will also allow customers who do not have the app downloaded to enter the waitlist. This will concatenate lists using only the platform to communicate with the guests instead of personal devices.
APP FLOW (Check-In):
1. Customer will check-in to restaurant to enter waitlist
2. Restaurant will tap “check-in” when table is ready
3. Platform will send a text and push notification to customer telling them to enter
Our location-based technology will help manage the list until guests are seated. If a guest decides to leave after they have checked in, the app will generate an automatic text to confirm they are indeed leaving. At that point, they will be removed from the list and not cause any disruption in the queue line.
