Q: Why game over when there still available moves left?
A: Each round 3 new numbers will be generated and placed on the board, so if there are fewer than 3 blank grids remaining, the game must end, otherwise not all 3 new numbers will be placed on the board.

A unique trick for 2048 is to build your highest valued tile in one of the corners. This increases your chances of winning as it helps you form bigger numbers without getting stuck. Always try to keep your highest number tile at one corner.
