Ever been annoyed by the noise in your daily life? Now is your chance to help us understand how noise in large communities works.
This app allows you to record sound around you and report your annoyance levels with those sounds. The purpose is to provide information for researchers to better address the rising problem of noise in cities. The app is straight forward to use. We collect general medical history data. Then whenever you hear a sound you’d like to record you can record that sound and include your general feelings about the sounds.
At the current phase of this research study the target participants include Farmingdale State College and Queensborough Community College students over the age of 18 specifically, the students enrolled in the PI and CO-PI’s courses.
