About WASH Butler
With WASH Butler®, you can now pay cashless and conveniently via app at all participating communal laundry facilities of Pfeilstetter Gemeinschaftswaschanlagen GmbH!
ATTENTION:
After a free registration, please FIRST establish a TEST CONNECTION with the central cash register device via QR scan in the app, and once this is successful, nothing stands in the way of cashless payments for the washing and drying machines of Pfeilstetter Gemeinschaftswaschanlagen GmbH! Since not all devices, especially Chinese phones (including some from Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, Doogee, etc.), are supported by the built-in hardware, a test connection is important before topping up your credit! Please also do not uninstall the app if you have already topped up your credit, as this will expire since it is transferred offline to the app! When uninstalled unintentionally, please contact support@tomorrowbits.de , we will help you.
Summary of the core functions of WASH Butler:
- Top up your credit conveniently online via smartphone.
- Scan the QR code at the central cash register device to connect (activate Bluetooth and GPS).
- After filling and preparing a machine, simply select it in the app and pay with your offline credit by touching the corresponding red glowing machine.
- Report errors directly via the app (as soon as you are back online).
- View your personal data and delete your user account if needed.
- Same design and color logic as the coin cash registers on site.
INSTRUCTIONS:
Simply follow these steps:
1) Scan the QR code with your smartphone camera; the connection will be established.
2) Top up your credit in the app (top left).
The top-up must occur online; afterwards, you can return to the laundry room, and a maximum of 10 coins from your top-up will be transferred to an offline wallet so that you can pay for several machines even without internet connection!
If the test connection and top-up worked, you can close the app before filling the machine (red button at the bottom right of the app).
3) Fill the machine, prepare it, close the door (press start if necessary). You may need to scan again (this depends on whether steps 2 and 3 were performed in less than 1 minute and if you had previously established a test connection).
4) Pay for the machine (by touching the machine displayed in red in the app. Red = machine with closed door, green = active machine, white = available machine without a closed door).
5) Enter the type and number of your started machine and specify whether a reminder is desired at a specific time or not.
6) ALWAYS tap the red button at the bottom right tab bar or the app (to close the app).
Notes:
- Scan the QR code again if the machine list disappears (this is deleted after about 60 seconds so that other users can establish a connection if you accidentally forget to close the app with the red button).
- A hardware button on the cashier device can be pressed in case of connection problems. After that, please unpair or select "remove" or "ignore" the device "BGX..." in your smartphone's Bluetooth settings (depending on the manufacturer, the naming may vary). After that, a new connection with the cash register device usually works promptly. Unfortunately, the limitations of the utilized Bluetooth chip make this procedure regularly necessary.
- We support PayPal, instant transfer, credit card, and many other payment methods!
- When using the app for the first time, you need to allow the following device accesses for proper app operation: Bluetooth, location, camera. The location will not be used to collect movement data but rather to ensure a more stable Bluetooth connection. Camera access is only used for QR code scanning.
