A new app offering a wide range of careers education information and advice, to support young people, adults, parents and educators across the UK.
The new ‘Qdos Careers App’ is a ‘one stop’ resource providing information on education pathways and career choices/options, together with tools, advice and preparation for employment and university.
Developed by Manor Property Group, the App is the first of its kind to pull career resources together and put them in one, easily accessible place. It has been developed in partnership with careers education experts, including the Careers England and Career Development Institute national networks, regional careers leaders, educators and students, to ensure all content is completely relevant, useful and up to date.
This user-friendly App includes:
News on national and regional summer activities programme e.g. virtual open days and summer camps, careers events, new careers resources
Careers information (by job, by sector, and inspiration for those not sure what they want to do- tools and quizzes to see what suits you best)
Education route mapping (qualifications needed for jobs and impartial information on where to study)
University entry (UCAS) preparation
Job market navigation (including an interactive widget referencing labour market information)
Tools and guides to prepare for jobs and training applications (e.g. Apprenticeships and employment, internships, careers events calendar and online guides)
My Profile- where you store information and articles that are useful to you.
In addition, expert blogs and industry insight will be added regularly, with some included now for the launch.
