The MiCare Path app shares daily analytics with care teams via a customized dashboard. Patients can connect directly with care teams through MiCare Path using the messaging feature. CONNECTED DEVICES

MiCare Path is a mobile health (mHealth) remote patient monitoring (RPM) application prescribed by participating specialty healthcare providers and clinics. This application supports data collected from cellular and Bluetooth approved devices, as well as Apple HealthKit.

Depending on your care path, your provider may ask that you connect various devices, such as an activity tracker, blood pressure cuff and/or a weight scale to your device. You will receive alerts reminding you to use your devices as prescribed by your physician.

PATIENT CARE PATH

Your care path will be prescribed by your physician. This may include taking daily temperature, blood pressure, daily weight and/or tracking activity through your activity tracker or personal device. For Bluetooth devices, the app will need to be opened to sync with the device each time it is used. For cellular devices, the information is transmitted instantly. Surveys and education may also be assigned by your physician through your app. These results will be shared and reviewed by your care team in real-time.

VITAL RESULTS

The app will share your vitals at a frequency defined by your physician via your personalized dashboard. View your progress under your profile section on your app.

MESSAGING YOUR CARE TEAM

You will be able to exchange secure conversations with your healthcare provider using the messaging feature.

REQUESTING APPOINTMENTS

Please continue to request appointments with your healthcare provider directly unless otherwise noted within your two-way connection discussion.

Disclaimer: This application should not be used to make medical decisions without consulting with a physician.

The app doesn’t open daily and when it does often you have to reload app. It’s frustrating most of the time going back and forth

1-way data from Apple HealthKit

This app is functional, but a little annoying and clunky for frequent use. First, the number of clicks required just to record a temperature is too many: (1) Tap for required synch, (2) swipe to the temperature function, (3) tap to pick the [only] thermometer BT device, (4) tap to ”take reading”, (5) tap to dismiss reading. After all that, it does NOT seem to have the ability to share that data with the Apple HealthKit — even though it pulls lots of my other health data FROM AHK — so I have to manually add the temp reading in the Health app to have it visible there. That’s a few more clicks. Ugh.
