Useless for Promate Ranger-1 WiFi Doorbell
Promate has removed the Ranger-1 app for its HD WiFi Doorbell replacing it with this convoluted Promate Life app which doesn’t work with the Ranger-1 doorbell and can’t configure the device either. Their QR scan codes don’t work and redirect to strange websites. Beware and exercise caution if buying the Promate Ranger-1 HD WiFi doorbell. You’ll end up with a pricey non-functioning doorbell.
