Reviews for Aruba Bank App

Experience from bad to worst
I am sharing this review because I believe the community and investors deserve transparency about the ongoing issues customers continue to face with Aruba Bank. Over the years, the decline in customer service and banking reliability has become increasingly difficult to ignore. Deposit machines frequently malfunction or hold funds, the mobile app is often down, and every major system update seems to cause new POS problems for businesses. On top of this, unclear or excessive fees keep appearing, and clients are no longer given the option to choose their own PIN for new cards—something that feels outdated and unnecessary. Another concern is the monthly account fees. In the United States, many banks waive these fees if a customer maintains a minimum balance (for example, $1,500) in the account. It might be worth considering similar structures here rather than charging everyone by default, especially when essential services are not functioning consistently. The physical branches themselves also feel overdue for renovation. They give the impression of being built for cash-handling alone rather than serving a modern corporate or professional clientele. For a bank of this size and influence, it is surprising to see such minimal updates to customer-facing environments. Even the decision to close down the safe deposit box service feels strange for an institution of this scale. I’ve been a loyal client for many years, and changing banks in Aruba is not always a simple option—which is why feedback like this is important. I’m not writing this to attack the bank, but to highlight real issues that many customers quietly deal with. A bank that has served the island for so long should be leading in innovation, reliability, and customer care. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously. Aruba deserves a banking system that is modern, reliable, transparent, and truly centered on its clients.
