Hi, my name is Jessica-and I am the owner and founder of Windmill Gypsy. In the picture to the left you will see my four-year-old, Dawson, & I.
We are a hometown boutique. Full of wonderful professional and punchy clothing.
I've always had a clothing addiction. I was always the friend consulted when an outfit was needed for a special occasion, or if someone wanted to dig in my closet for something to wear. So I became the girl that sold the clothes, too.
Where does the name come from?
My grandpa was raised in Clayton, Ok. As a child, he visited family in West Texas, where his favorite pastime was to sit and stare at the windmills for hours. In his later years, he raised cattle on his own farm and was known for his pet deer "Daisy". He loved to sit under a shade tree and watch his own windmill turn.
My grandmother was a gypsy. She traveled the country in her own hippie van as well as in the passenger seat of big trucks. She loved clothes and jewelry, particularly leopard prints and turquoise. I will forever cherish my memories of them both.
