Two-factor authentication solution for BRCI S.A. cardholders, which makes online payments to merchants enrolled in 3DSecure easier and more secure, using biometric technology. BRCI Secure offers an increased level of security for e-commerce transactions with cards issued by BRCI. The application offers the possibility of authentication through biometrics (fingerprint / facial recognition) or any other security code that can be generated by the device: password, PIN, swipe pattern, etc. Biometric authentication provides the highest level of security that consumers want. Through the mobile application, users can easily access the transaction history, cards attached to their phone number that they have previously registered their cards in 3D Secure and can receive push notifications for authentication.
When performing an e-commerce transaction, the cardholder receives, through the mobile application, a PUSH notification, informing about the transaction that requires authorization.
After downloading the application from App Store, the user can access it by entering the phone number he declared to the bank to initiate secure e-commerce transactions and the last four digits of the card number.
If the user has already set the card on another device, the cardholder will be notified by a pop-up message on the phone screen.
The cardholder will receive an SMS at the registration stage to verify the identity of the cardholder.
If the cardholder enters the wrong secure code, he receives an SMS informing him that he has entered the wrong code.
After the secure code received via SMS is entered correctly, the cardholder will receive a welcome message, accessing the mobile application.
While the transaction is performed on the browser and the cardholder enters the card details, the user will receive a push notification on the phone screen with details about the transaction, waiting for its approval or rejection.
The cardholder will approve the transaction using the biometric capability of the phone.
In the main menu of the application, the user can view the list of transactions (approved and rejected, with reference to the name of the merchant, date, amount) and the cards attached to the phone number register for the 3DSecure transaction.
