About HIV Clinical Job Aids

In close collaboration of National AIDS Programme (NAP)/ Ministry of Health and Sports (MOHS) and with the technical assistance of ICAP at Columbia University in Myanmar, this application was developed based on the “Guidelines for the Clinical Management of HIV Infection in Myanmar, Fifth Edition, 2017” and “Amendment to Guidelines for the Clinical Management of HIV Infection in Myanmar, 5th Edition, 2018”.

This mobile application was made possible by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) under the terms of Cooperative Agreement Number NU2GGH 002216. The contents are the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the views of CDC or the U.S. Government.

ICAP at Columbia University began working in Myanmar in 2014 with the aim of supporting the efforts of the Ministry of Health and Sports (MOHS) to promote the health of the people of Myanmar with a special emphasis on HIV. In collaboration with National AIDS Programme (NAP), the MOHS, and other key stakeholders – and with the support of the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) – ICAP has been providing technical assistance to and through the NAP/MOHS, for strengthening the quality and implementation of HIV/AIDS prevention, testing, care, and treatment activities including Priority Population focused services, co-infection management, HIV related laboratory quality management and services, and capacity building efforts among health care workers.
