Cannot castle
I downloaded the app to try it. First opening I did was king’s gambit wild Bertin gambit and it would not allow white to castle when needed. This app is garbage. I deleted it immediately (Response to developer) You have to click on the room after clicking on the king to castle. What does that even mean? So… I click on king first(because that’s the piece I am moving to Castle) and there is no option to castle. My review stands. It’s still garbage.

A wonderful tool for learning
I downloaded this app along with many others while searching for something to help me learn openings and after trying them all, this was the one that stood out to me. I’m still a beginner and I never would have thought I’d be able to learn so many opening variations but this app makes it so easy. I love the method of learning through repetition, and with the ability to add custom variations, the usefulness feels amazing for the price. Very beginner friendly without the need for importing PGN files, and plenty of functionality at the free level. If you do decide to pay, the yearly price was similar to what some other apps charge per month. As if there wasn’t enough to like about the app, I also emailed the developer with some suggestions and to my surprise they responded that same day, confirmed one suggestion was coming in the next update, educated me on a feature I wanted but was already in the app, and took my third suggestion into consideration. I don’t often write reviews for apps, but this has been such a positive experience that I felt compelled to share. Back to studying!
