Forget this. Interesting idea, but not practical. Do this instead:
Load your video into iMovie or any other editor that allows you to separate the audio from the video on an independent track. Now make a copy (duplicate) of that audio track so you have two tracks of the same audio. Put one in one location of the stereo field and the other in a different location (hard left and right works great). Now zoom in very close and move one of the audio tracks, offsetting it just slightly from the other by a matter of milliseconds. Better than any reverb.
