Zuri Health is a mobile health service that has been designed to help its users receive medical services through their mobile devices via apps, wap, and SMS. The Zuri Health iOS app helps users connect with doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and diagnostic centres through its six main features; Hospital, Doc on Duty, Pharmacy, Telemed, Doc at Home, and Test & Diagnostics.
The Hospital feature allows users to search hospitals by their proximity, fees, payment options, and visitation times. The Doctor on Duty feature is available as a premium feature where patients can receive first-level medical consultation with our in-house doctors during work hours i.e, 8 am-5 pm local time after paying a monthly or annual subscription of $2 and $24 respectively. The Pharmacy feature allows users to search for and filter pharmacies by their location and medication availability. Prescriptions given by doctors through the app can be filled in the pharmacy. Zuri Health has incorporated the TeleMed feature which will allow for remote diagnosis and treatment of patients by means of telecommunications technology, i.e, via audio and video calls within the app. Doc at Home allows users who may not have the ability to visit a physical healthcare facility to call for a home visit from a practitioner. Lastly, after a consultation, patients will use the diagnostics feature of the app to search for and filter testing sites or centres for the particular test that has been requested by the doctor for a diagnosis.
With Zuri Health, patients are also able to book in-clinic appointments with doctors depending on their availability, which can be checked in the doctor's profile. Patients also have the capability to share their medical records with a consulting doctor within the app.
Patients are able to mark doctors as favourites as well as rate the service they received from the doctor, whether in-clinic or remotely.
Patients are able to access various payment methods including mobile money (primarily in Kenya), credit/debit cards, and insurance.
