I love the premise!

I’ve just begun to try my hand at writing, and so I uploaded a few stories I’ve written. I made $1 this month from the portion of subscription fees that go to authors. It’s not much, but it’s the first time I’ve ever been paid for something I wrote. I LOVE the idea of giving a portion of subscription fees to authors. Even though I won’t make a fortune here, I feel like my work is valued.

Love the App and Concept

This is a great experience thus far. As a lover of short stories and most posted take less than 20 minutes to read and are from some very good authors. If a reader chooses to subscribe, a portion goes to the authors s/he likes. I think this is a great idea for writers and readers of all levels. To be able to read/share others’ work for free is great (limited unless you subscribe) and inspirational to publish my own work. However: The reimbursement is only through PayPal, which not everyone uses - I being one. This makes me reluctant as both an author who would like to use the platform as a stress-free way to share work and possibly get rewarded and as a reader who would like to subscribe in order to support other writers’ works that I have enjoyed. More ways to reimburse authors would be a 5star rating. Otherwise, a great app to support literary arts.
