About the Application
The mobiWAWA application is a free mobile app providing access to digital city services and entitlements for discounts and travel on Warsaw’s public transportation. It also simplifies verifying entitlements – simply generate a QR code and present it during ticket inspections or at facilities offering discounts under the Warsaw Resident Card program.
The app supports the Warsaw Resident Card, e-Student ID, and selected long-term WTP tickets. It is one of the digital services of the mojaWARSZAWA portal, available at https://moja.warszawa19115.pl/.
The application is owned and managed by the Warsaw City Hall. The organizational unit responsible for designing, developing, and ensuring its proper functioning is the IT Office.

Warsaw Public Transport Tickets
The mobiWAWA app offers long-term public transport tickets for the city of Warsaw. To purchase a ticket, users must register an account, log in, complete their user profile (including uploading a photo, providing a contact phone number), and select a ticket from the current offer.

Tickets purchased through the app can be managed – activated or deactivated, suspended or unsuspended, and renewed (i.e., repurchased).

Ticket purchases are made electronically via the mobiWAWA app and an online payment operator. Payments in the app are fast, convenient, and, most importantly, secure.

Presenting Tickets During Inspections
Purchasing tickets is just the beginning! The mobiWAWA app also allows users to present tickets during inspections. On an active ticket, users can tap the “Ticket Inspection” button, which displays their name, photo, ticket type, validity date, and a QR code. This screen is shown to ticket inspectors.

Catalog of Offers for Warsaw Resident Card Holders
Warsaw residents can take advantage of offers from partners collaborating with the City under the Warsaw Resident Card program. Through the mobile app, users can view offer details (e.g., discounts on services in the capital), add them to their “favorite offers,” and keep them easily accessible.
All offers are available in a dedicated catalog. To use them, simply select a discount or service, generate its QR code, and present it to the partner.

E-Student ID for Students of Warsaw and Suburban Primary Schools
Through the mobiWAWA app, students can present entitlements for free travel in the 1st and 2nd fare zones of Warsaw’s public transportation.

The app also enables seniors and honorary blood donors to use their free travel entitlements without carrying traditional documents.

Opening Metro Gates
The mobiWAWA app allows users with an active ticket to open metro gates.

The “Metro Pass” is a QR code that opens metro gates.
