Major Disapointment
Several weeks ago I participated in my first online auction on this site because I’ve started collecting advertising signs. Granted, I am new to collecting & should have done more research on the items I bid on, but I made sure to let the Richmond staff that I was new. I was surprised at how expensive the items were, but figured they would be worth it. They weren’t. I received 2 cartons for a total of 6 signs. Most of them are about 1/2 the size of a license plate! The largest one is 12”x 15” & it’s not even porcelain. I paid $1,500.00 for 6 tiny signs that I could probably have bought on eBay for less than $350. Needless to say, I’m very dissatisfied & will NEVER EVER participate in another Richmond Auction again & have deleted their app from my phone. How they get away with this scam baffles me. If this review saves at least one person from getting taken for a ride, then it’s worth it!

First Experience
I bid on an item, I was unaware that I was out bid, apparently several times. I was never notified of that and I was never notified that the auction was over. I had to log in to find out. I could never find the information on how long the auction was going last or any other information, that I thought people should know. For a first time experience with Richmond - I won’t be back. Very disappointing.
