About Kallósnál

The Zoltán Kallós Ethnographic Collection, which is part of the Zoltán Kallós Foundation, has approximately 6000 objects. At the core of the collection are the artefact collected by Zoltán Kallós himself, which can be explored in the so-called “clean rooms”. In terms of territorial coverage, the collection presents the Hungarian communities of the Mezőség, Kalotaszeg, Gyimes and Moldavia. In addition, a significant number of artefacts from the Romanian and Saxon populations of Transylvania are also on display.
