Love Debty
This is exactly what I was looking for in a debt tracking app: it's very simple, very straightforward, very easy to use, attractive to look at, and while in general I don't like subscription-based software, I'll pay for a subscription if I think the software is really worth it, and Debty is. You can get a monthly subscription for $2.99/month or an annual one for $24.99/year; I saw the value of this software and went with the annual subscription. You don't have to create an account or log in, there are no ads, it doesn't want you to link your bank account or any of that nonsense...it tracks your debts (whether owed by you or to you) and their repayments, and that's it. I love it, and will continue to use it for as long as it runs on my devices. ♥️

I wish the rest of life was this easy.
If you have any debts owed by you or to you, you must getty Debty. I first downloaded a “competing” debt-tracker app that had five stars (from a total of 8 users) and found it unintuitive, a bit strange; I had to put forth some effort to figure out how to use it. Once I did, it was okay, but not ideal, so I went back to the App Store and grabbed Debty to give it a try, and it was exactly what I’d been looking for when I downloaded the first app: simple, straightforward, and 100% intuitive. By the time I’d entered my first debt I was sufficiently happy with the app to subscribe. And I’m not a fan of subscription-based software. But at the current price of $15.99 a year, and considering the quality and ease-of-use of the product, it was a no-brainer for me: I want to support this software and this developer. The Mac needs much more software like this, made with Apple (Computer)’s original design philosophy at its core: intuitivity (it’s a word *now*). Software that works the way humans expect it to, rather than forcing humans to work the way the software expects *them* to. If you’re looking for a simple (and intuitive) app to track your debts, this is it. 👍🏻
