Application contains 4 modes:
"Adhiyana":
In the era of e books, this mode of the app lets you read the sloka and their meanings of The Bagavat Gita which Krishna himself spoke to Arjuna. Once you choose this mode, a sloka and its meaning appears on the screen with an option to play the audio, once you are done reading the sloka on the screen by pressing next or previous button it lets you go to the succeeding sloka or preceding the sloka giving you.
Guru-Shishya:
This mode Sravanam or Guru-Shishya mode offers you following This mode reintroduces the vedic Guru shishya style of learning , Guru chants the sloka and lets you chant the sloka twice (in the default mode), which is the standard practice of the parampara, this helps you to learn sloka along with its correct form of pronunciation or uchharana.
Depending on how comfortable you are with Sanskrit ,this mode offers you to choose your own pace.
once you click on Sravanam it gives you following options to choose, to start with,
You can choose chapter and sloka of the Gita to be played
You can choose your pace (default is set at 1X)
You can choose how many portions a sloka needs to be read (based on your comfort with Sanskrit)
Repetitions option is given for you to choose time, to chant the sloka read out by Guru, if Guru chants one portion of the sloka and if it takes 3 secs time by choosing ;Repetitions- 2; it gives you 6 secs time to chant twice in default mode, you wish to chant only once you can change Repetitions -1;
Mananam:
Mananam Mode or recite mode
slokas of Gita are a treasure of ancient India, chanting them regularly imparts Moral values in ones way of life (one has to learn the meaning), vibrations produced during the chant seems to activate certain energy centers or chakras in the body helping expand human capability and improve clarity, this Mode Mananam or Recite mode helps you choose chapter ; slokas to recite
Parayanam:
Parayanam is Audio of all chapters of The Gita, played at your speed of choosing
