PRE-NURSING CHECK OFF APP
The Pre-RN Check Off app is designed specifically for those who are interested in a career in nursing. The company was started by a nurse who has worked in various areas in the healthcare industry for 20 years.
Instructions for Use
The app is easy to use and is also user-friendly.
To begin, decide which institution best fits your needs. Next, check the nursing board website in your state to make sure the school is legitimate and accredited. Time and money spent on classes that don't count toward your degree are a waste.
Second, decide on a school of nursing.
There are currently three routes to RN certification:
1) Licensed Vocational Nurse to Registered Nurse.
2) Associate Degree Nursing to Registered Nurse.
3) Bachelor of Science in Nursing to Registered Nurse.
Finally, the Pre-Nursing Check off list can be used to verify completion of prerequisites. Courses that are typically taken by nursing students before they are allowed to begin their careers are provided. If the course is not listed for your school, you can add it.
Besides studying your coursework, the following sections of the app can help you along your nursing career's path:
A Forum for Nurses (Join forum to connect with your peers to discuss Pre-Nursing courses)
Examination for Admission to the Nursing Profession (Hesi, Teas, etc.)
Preventative Medicine (Measles, TDAP etc.)
Assistance in the Form of Grants and Awards (apply for nursing scholarships)
Intimate Conversation (Chat with your friends or peers)
"Lecture Notes" (ex. Anatomy, Physiology)
Your Own Calendar (mark due dates and plan for exams).
