With Planetary Nomenclature Neptune, you can easy and playfully learn about the correct nomenclature of organic molecules. You'll get simple, precise tutorials which help you playing through over 70 levels. This way you will become a nomenclature pro in no time!
You'll get to know the nomenclature of organic molecules in both directions: in some levels you will match molecules and their names, in some it will be the exact reverse and often the app will enable you to draw molecules yourself in something like a building box yourself.
You can also get creative in the creative mode of Planetary Nomenclature Neptune: Just build molecules yourself and let the app name them for you. This is especially helpful when you don't really know how to name something and you just want to try it. Also really useful: Colorful markings of the molecules to indicate corresponding parts of the name and the option to hide the name and challenge yourself.
Currently there are level packages with over 70 levels for alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, alcohols, aldehydes and ketones. Additionally, you can build halogen alkanes and acids. Ring structures are currently not supported (yet!).
