Koinonia has the following major features:
The community owner has full control over who is invited to join his/her community.
Only Community owner or his/her delegates shares the QR code of their community by tapping their community name at the app header and let their target participant(s) to join. The QR code shall be auto-updated every 30 seconds to avoid the code is being illegally distributed. Participants to join the community by tapping the (+) button and use it's camera to scan the QR code given by the community owner or his/her delegates. The camera can only be used for this sole purpose and it can only be triggered manually by tapping the (+) button. Push notification shall be sent to all participants whenever a post is newly published.
Distributed contents supports "rich content" (refers to the definition from Wikipedia) as well as link from Youtube. The content can be displayed in three font sizes (big, medium, and small) to suit different needs.
Content server can be hosted locally and you will never worry about data leakage due to outsourcing data operations to a cloud provider. Of course, Koinonia will not stop you to host your data via your own trust cloud technology partner.
