Mobile Weed Manual

This manual was prepared to assist turfgrass managers with developing effective weed management programs. This manual contains herbicide recommendations that are subject to change at any time. The recommendations in this manual are provided only as a guide. The use of brand or trade names is for clarity and information, and does not imply the endorsement of a product to the exclusion of others that may be of a similar, suitable composition. It does not guarantee or warrant the standard of a product.

Herbicide labels are constantly reviewed and revised. Listed herbicides were registered for the prescribed use when this manual was developed. Should the registration or prescribed use of a herbicide be canceled prior to revision of this manual, the herbicide would no longer be recommended by the University of Tennessee. Up-to-date information on herbicide efficacy is posted regularly on the Tennessee Turf Weeds web site.

Herbicides must be used in strict accordance with the product label – to do otherwise is a violation of federal law. Always read and understand product label directions and precautions before selecting, purchasing, transporting, storing and applying a herbicide. Any discrepancy in this manual with a product label is unintentional. If such a discrepancy exists within this manual, in all cases, use the product label as the authority to guide you in the legal use of the product.
