This mature forest PEI golf course is the discerning golfer’s dream with 18 memorable holes, enjoyable for high and low handicap players. Wide rolling fairways, well bunkered greens, subtle elevation changes and numerous lakes and streams make each hole a new challenge and a pleasure to play.

Mill River Golf Course was constructed between 1969-1970 under the direction of Robbie Robinson, who later designed the 18th hole and practice green. Between 1992-1996, Graham Cooke designed several changes to the course including six new greens at holes 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 17.

As can be expected you will need to use all the clubs in your bag as you venture around this parkland setting. This Prince Edward Island golf course is known as one of the island’s most popular and affordable playgrounds. Mill River is rated four stars by Golf Digest Places to Play, which raves, “Outstanding, plan your next vacation around it.” SCORE Golf Magazine rated Mill River in the Top 3 Best Golf Courses in Atlantic Canada.

“Mill River is a parkland course that tests a golfer through their entire bag. Depending on the set of tees they choose to play, there are five different options, a golfer can be faced with demanding tee shots that can require the ball to curve both to the left and right. Approach shots are struck from uneven lies and challenged with greenside mounding. Once you get to the greens you’ll hope you’ve left the ball in the right section based on where the hole is cut, or you’ll be playing defense all the way to the hole.”
- Sean Joyce, Director of Golf at Mill River Resort
