SpeakIn Language Exchange

With Google translate integrated into SpeakIn, users are able to remove any language barriers as they have a translator tool within the chat. Simply double tap a message which has been sent or received and the translation will be shown. This also allows for users to learn a new language which is particularly relevant to their own lives, as they have translations for things they are saying in everyday conversation.

Removing the language barrier is great for most people, but for some, it is not enough to truly develop and learn a language. That's why SpeakIn contains exciting features to further develop language skills. Users are able to:
- Correct each other’s messages, helping each other perfect the sentence structure, or providing insight to local dialect.
- Send and receive voice messages, as well as having messages read out using Google voice, allowing for practice with pronunciation.
- Filter message lists, allowing users to find friends that they need to respond to, and users that they’re awaiting a response from. This means for speedier messaging!
- Users can also nudge users that haven’t responded to their connection request or message, allowing for more responsiveness between the community.
- Set translation settings for each chat, allowing for practice of a particular language, even without the native speaker of said language!
