It is located in the park of Natural History center of Serbia in Svilajnac and it consists of dino exhibition, volcano exhibition, gift shop, cafe-restaurant, and playroom for children.
The largest part of the park occupies a unique dinosaur setting in their living shapes and authentic surroundings. There are over 20 replicas of different types of dinosaurs in the park, of which the largest replica of the Diplodocus is 11 meters high and 20 meters long.
The most famous and most attractive dinosaur, especially for the youngest, is Tyrannosaurus. Tyrannosaurus was one of the largest land carvers of our planet. It had a very large 1.5 m long skull and huge and strong jaws with over 60 teeth, the largest reaching up to 20 cm. The bite of the adult tyrannosaurus was 10 times stronger than the bite of the alligator. According to the way of movement, it was bipedal. His back legs were massive and with strong claws. If he would rise to his hind legs during the fight, he could reach a height of up to 6 meters. The forelegs were extremely short only about 50 cm. On the front legs, there were two claws that were used to capture prey or to rely on.
The tail, strong and long, acted as a counterweight disproportionately to the large head and huge body. During the active hunting, he used claws to catch the big herbivores dinosaurs. The front short limbs probably held the victim as he ripped his flesh at the moment of catching the prey. Thanks to its size and appetite, the Tyrannosaurus was at the top of the food chain. It was found that the females were larger than males, and it is assumed that the life expectancy of both sexes was about 30 years.
Through the dino exhibition, you will become familiar with the features and points of interest and other dinosaurs, and some of them are Diplodocus, Deinonychus, Plesiosaurus, Pteranodon, Triceratops, Allosaurus, and many others.
