About Malpass Butchery

Great deals every week from Malpass Butchery

Malpass Butchery started in 1812 by a Vale Pasture Farmer, Daniel Malpass. He met the love of his life Frances Tester and had 12 children. Yes 12! In 1861 their fifth child, Tester James Malpass took on the business. In 1888 Tester James Malpass’ third child, Edward George Malpass continues under the family name. In 1937 he opened E.G Malpass. The butchers stood proudly on the corner of High Street and Church Lane in Tonbridge. The shop had sawdust strewn on the floor. Quite a feature in the town. The butchers shop was then passed onto their son. In 1990 Jamie Malpass took over the company and has grown the company to provide succulent meat nationwide.
