LTSSMaryland EVV is the Maryland Department of Health's (MDH) Electronic Visit Verification system for verifying home and community based service delivery. This HIPAA compliant application allows providers to use their own smartphones to submit service records directly to the state in real time, offering a fast and convenient method to ensure that recipients are getting their correct authorized services.
LTSSMaryland EVV meets the 21st Century Cures Act requirements by recording the type of service performed, individual receiving the service, date of service, location of service delivery, individual providing the service, and service start and end time. The system offers a method for MDH to continue its mission to promote and improve the health and safety of all Marylanders through disease prevention, access to care, quality management, and community engagement.
