Needs a few improvements
The app is not very user-friendly and creates confusion around booking classes. You don’t need calendar access to schedule or enroll in a class, but if you want to actually see your classes in the app’s calendar (and later cancel them), you must give full calendar access. I tried allowing only “add events” access, but the app requires full permission, which isn’t ideal. I like to plan my week around work and family schedules, so being able to see and manage my classes easily is important. Another issue is the difference between “Scheduled” and “Enrolled.” When you book, sometimes it shows “Enrolled” (and that will sync to the calendar once permissions are given), but if it only says “Scheduled,” nothing shows in the app—though you do get an email. It would be helpful to know in advance what the difference means. Does “Scheduled” mean you don’t really have a spot? And how do you cancel a “Scheduled” class if it doesn’t appear in the calendar? Canceling is also more complicated than it should be. To cancel, the class has to be on your calendar, then you have to tap into it and use the three dots in the top right corner. If it isn’t on your calendar, canceling doesn’t seem possible at all. Overall, the features that would be most useful (seeing booked classes, tracking attendance, managing cancellations) either don’t work consistently or require too many extra steps.
