About AD3000 - Orion Master
The turn-based 4X strategy mode draws inspiration from the classic Master of Orion. Choose from ten unique races and pursue galactic dominance through diplomacy, conquest, exploration, and technological progress. Customize your colonies, research across six tech trees, design powerful ships, and manage planetary economies. Discover diverse planet types, terraform hostile worlds, and navigate dynamic diplomacy—from trade agreements to full-scale wars.
The sandbox-style space adventure mode is inspired by Endless Sky, Naev, and Escape Velocity. Pilot your ship through a vast 2D galaxy filled with star systems, planets, and space stations. Navigate via hyperdrives and wormholes, take on missions, trade, mine, or battle—your journey is entirely your own. Align with factions, build a fleet, and shape your story in a dynamic, living universe.

Needs improvement
The design of the game mechanics of the first mode (technology, trade, etc.) are very intentional. Unfortunately, this game has very major flaws. First, you can only create 6 ship designs in the Orion mode. Since there’s 5 premade designs, you can only create one design before you’re forced to scrap one design (which also deletes all ships of that kind, very annoyingly when I wanted to create faster colonists). Also, the premade designs should automatically update to use the latest tech you have. In addition, there’s a bug where the AI can send troops to attack you even if you have a nonaggression pact with them. I’ve lose multiple valuable planets this way, and the worst part is you can’t even take it back without breaking the treaty. There should also be a setting to disable the council, the game isn’t fun when you can either auto win or auto lose after a hundred years. Moving on to the other mode, I bought the asteroid scanner and mining laser but can’t figure out how to mine asteroids (I also clicked the find nearest asteroid button that did nothing). I played it for a couple hours and it was honestly pretty boring, not much comment here. There’s also a watch ad for free money button that trivializes the early game.
