Who Can Use Health Mentor?
Health Mentor is one app that connects clients and coaches. Coaches sign up first and then invite their clients.
Health Goals
Coaches can track client goals for weight, body fat, waist, hip and thigh circumference. Weight and body fat measurements can be taken through a connected smart scale. All measurements can be taken manually.
Setting Behavior Targets
Coaches can set targets for calories and macronutrients eaten, hours slept, steps taken, and calories burned each day.
Data Sync From Wearables, Connected Fitness Equipment and Apps
Health Mentor syncs data from Google Fit and Apple Health. This means it can sync data for the behavior targets mentioned above plus weight and body fat from any device, wearable, app or connected fitness equipment that shares data with these services. Have a client who just bought a Peloton, but still needs help with their diet? Track their calorie burn on the bike, monitor their diet using MyFitnessPal, and then help them with behavior change lessons from our library.
Coaching Dashboard
See a summary of weekly progress for all of your clients on one screen. Filter to see a list of clients with high compliance rates so you can congratulate them. Filter to see clients with lower compliance rates who may need some additional support. When needed, tap again to see a week by week history for each client.
Private Messenger
Make yourself accessible to clients, and maintain boundaries by communicating with our private integrated messenger. Both clients and coaches can send links and images. Coaches can also send lessons from the integrated library.
Coaching Library
The coaching library is accessible from the messenger with a single tap and comes pre-loaded with evidence-based lessons on nutrition, exercise, sleep, and behavior change topics. Each lesson has been reviewed by an MD and PhD behavior change researcher. Lessons are based on studies from peer-reviewed journals, but are presented in an engaging format similar to Instagram.
What Resources Are There to Help Clients With Sleep?
We allow coaches and clients to track sleep by manually entering hours slept or tracking automatically with a sleep tracker. We have lessons that review the most compelling research on the health benefits of sleep, and things people can do at home to improve their sleep without medication. We also have links to tests people can take to screen for sleep disorders and find sleep specialists in their area.

The best part about the library is what you will add to it. Instantly create lessons by adding links to websites, YouTube videos and Podcasts, then write an introduction for your clients and tag it so you can find it later. You can also upload one or more images to create lessons that look like Instagram posts. We use the same image format as Instagram, so it’s easy to repurpose content you may already have.
