The CAYAGOLF Project - Increase participation, help grow the game.
Competition Without Handicaps
The CAYAGOLF Scoring System analyze past performances generating hole-by-hole averages from which you complete.
When competing, the objective is, to Be-Better-Than-Average.
Beating your hole average generates 10 points, scoring worst than average generates negative points (which is the difference between your hole average and your score). The system then calculates all 18 holes to determine your total points. A maximum of 180 points are possible.
Competing against your average eliminates the need for handicaps. It eliminates the need to negotiate strokes or separate players by gender, age or skill level. It allows golfers to relax and compete from any tee or skill level, against any golfer on the planet.
Eliminating barriers such as gender, age and skill level increases participation and helps to grow the game.
