While technically it works, it is way too limited to be useful in practice. Exporting is limited to what is shown in the non-resizable display, and limited to that aspect ratio, so if you have something large, long, or tall you are stuck with having to shrink the font size and have an oddly proportioned tiny image as your export. The included character pallet would be nice if it was more comprehensive and searchable, but as-is I end having to go web searching for characters I need anyway, which makes it pretty much wasted screen space, since the common characters that it has are the ones you already know and can just type, precisely because they are common.

App is broken — keyboard toggle button doesn’t work

This app becomes unusable once you start typing. The on-screen keyboard pops up and covers the entire math symbol bar—and the keyboard button that appears to be designed for retracting it doesn’t work. That means you can’t access most of the LaTeX tools. This is a major UI failure that renders the app useless. The promotional screenshots don’t show this issue at all. I regret paying for this.
