Quiz Soup

With Quiz Soup, educators can easily test students’ comprehension by building and administering custom quizzes on any subject. Designed with parents and tutors of homeschooled students in mind, this app aims to provide a simple, flexible interface not dependent on any particular curriculum. Automatic grading eliminates the delay and inconvenience of manual grading, and motivates students to take an active role in their education by identifying any areas that may need greater focus. Completed quizzes remain viewable as long as desired, simplifying tracking students’ learning progress over time while reducing paperwork.

FEATURES

* Set up one or more Instructor Accounts to group students by age, location, or other criteria as desired.

* Students can sign into their individual account(s) using the Student Identifier(s) assigned by their Instructor(s).

* The Quiz Builder tool allows Instructors to build, save, edit and assign custom multiple choice quizzes on any topic.

* Unassigned quizzes can be edited by the Instructor and are not visible to students.

* Instructors write their own questions and can populate multiple correct and incorrect answer choices for each question.

* The app will handle scoring by awarding points for correct answers and deducting points for incorrect answers based on the number of correct and incorrect answer options.

* Students can finish and submit a quiz, or save their progress and resume later. Once submitted, results will be displayed to the Student and Instructor.

* Instructors can see which quizzes are completed and ready for review, which are in progress, and which have not yet been assigned.

* Students’ cumulative scores in each subject area are shown in both Instructor and Student accounts. These can be reset at the Instructor’s discretion.
