The popular Trailside Cafe @ Mile 73 is a favorite destination located in the heart of Alaska's sled dog country just 90 minutes north of Anchorage. Located on the campus of the Alaska Dog Center, Trailside customers will meet our working sled dogs. A gift store that also features the best mushing gear is on campus and we welcome walk-in customers for our daily sled dog kennel tours. We love dogs, people, great food and great conversation so e look forward to seeing you Trailside in Willow, Alaska where there are more sled dogs than people!
