About innerchats – inner dialogues

Innerchats is an intuitive tool for leading an inner dialogue. While many of us already do that, having a dedicated place and intuitive interface can lead to deeper and more insightful dialogues. It can also benefit in building self-trust, self-confidence, imagination and strengthening your intuition.

CHAT WITH ANYONE OR ANYTHING

Innerchats can be used on many established inner dialogue paradigms:

– Psychological — use it for intrapersonal communication with your emotions or physical and psychosomatic symptoms and understand better what they are telling you. You might be surprised what things like chronic frustration, anger or back-pain are trying to tell you for a long time. Adapt it to concepts like Jungian Shadow work, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Inner child, Parts work.

– Religious — adapt it to your own religious beliefs. From Higher self, though Christian Guardian Angels, Hindu gods, Buddhist teachers, Taoist masters, Shinto monks, Shamanic spirit guides, New Age concepts to atheist concepts and anything in between or mixed together.

– Relationships — talk with people from your life. Current or past. Talk though issues and maybe gain a better understanding of their perspective. Or bring closure to past relationships.

– Business — talk with admired business mentors; create your own Mastermind based on ideas of Napoleon Hill’s ideas

– Science/innovation – fancy a chat with Richard Feynman?

– Philosophy – or having a chat with Nietzsche or Marcus Aurelius?

– Fantasy – or what about talking with Yoda or your favorite fantasy/comics/anime/scifi idol?

– Nature - or what about a chat with your favorite animal, place or maybe a Milky way?

– Anything/anyone else you’d like to chat with!

BASIC INSTRUCTIONS

– all the dialogues happen within you

– you apply your intuition, imagination and creativity to hold the chats

– while chatting it helps to be in a quiet place, where you can really tap into your imagination and role-play the two sides of the chat

– you can close your eyes, or change seats, to really feel into each of the sides

– try to not force it and try to do it intuitively

ABOUT INTRAPERSONAL COMMUNICATION as per WIKI

Intrapersonal communication is the process by which an individual communicates within themselves, acting as both sender and receiver of messages, and encompasses the use of unspoken words to consciously engage in self-talk and inner chat.

Intrapersonal communication, also referred to as internal monologue, autocommunication, self talk, inner speech, or internal discourse, is a person's inner voice which provides a running monologue of thoughts while they are conscious. It is usually tied to a person's sense of self. It is particularly important in planning, problem solving, self-reflection, self-image, critical thinking and emotions. As a result, it is relevant to a number of mental disorders, such as depression, and treatments like cognitive behavioural therapy which seek to alleviate symptoms by providing strategies to regulate cognitive behaviour. It may reflect both conscious and subconscious beliefs.
