Protect your Time: Orbit is not your average scheduler. Most schedulers are designed where anyone can book out times from your calendar as long as they have the scheduling link. On Orbit, only your friends on the app can propose times to chat with you, while you get to pick a time from the selection and confirm it before the call is officially scheduled. Users are also encouraged to add a short call description or theme to let the recipient know the general purpose of the call beforehand, so they can show up prepared.
Non-Interruptive Calling: Calls out of the blue can disturb your daily flow and lead to back/forth games of phone tag. Orbit can help you reduce out of the blue calls that give you less than 20 seconds to respond and turn your phone into a buzzing nuisance. Calls on Orbit can only be scheduled 5 minutes(at a minimum) into the future so even when someone wants to talk to you soon and you are free- you have enough breathing room to do things like find a better place to take the call before it starts.
