MyUnbox is a blockchain-based Identity management tool, allowing you to securely log in to third-parties without having to store any passwords. Take control of your data and revoke access to third parties at any time.
Public key/private key pairings allow individuals to create multiple identities, each of which can contain a plethora of information suited to the type of identity the user has created. For instance, a business identity may contain a user’s wallet, their CV, verifiable tokens that represent accreditations or a reference letter; a personal identity may contain billing information, mobile numbers, or deeds of ownership; a spam identity may only contain an email address that is used for connecting to unsecured Wi-Fi or using a website that tracks cookies.
The data managed by an identity can be shared with third parties. Crucially, third parties will only be allowed to view this data and not store it for their own purposes. Users can give third parties access to view the contents of a container, within which is the data associated with an identity. At any point, users can revoke access to this container and change the locks, as well as change what is being stored in this container.
