It’s great when it works
It’s a great emulator with a lot of nice features and touches. The skins are great, and it’s really easy to set up. The haptic feedback and responsiveness of the input are really nice. But for the last year or so, I’ve been having a problem where it just freezes and becomes unresponsive. It usually happens when I switch to another app and back. If I reset the CPU, it will sometimes come back, but usually it doesn’t. Other times, the input will slow to a crawl, only accepting inputs every 2 seconds. The input will get buffered and will enter automatically at this really slow rate. While it functions, it’s not usable. I really love this app, but it’s just become unusable. I’ve had to bring my real HP48 out of storage, but it’s hard having lost the portability and availability of having my HP everywhere I go.
