App setup is meh
Too many small chapters made it difficult to remember where my place was. Typically apps go with the chapters and the options to find where you’re are at five minute intervals that sometimes skips at the beginning taking me out of it. There’s no placement marker if you move it forwards or backwards… this app has my selection of books just not the software support needed to have a continued subscription here.

Unreliable + poor UX
It’s tedious to have to sign into B&N on safari just to pay for an audiobook with a subscription credit. I wouldn’t mind as much if the website wasn’t so clunky and glitchy. The app ui is strange and it’s an awkward browsing experience. The dealbreaker for me was that a book I paid for with a $17 credit won’t play. At all. I’d rather not have to use audible but apparently functionality is too much to ask from the competition
