Close but no cigar
The good? Get to listen to the radio program I want to without being near a radio. The bad? Longer list. 1. Same ads over and over and over and over. 2. Same moronic Tech Trends blurb repeated advertising websites with pretty lame ideas or "tech tips" that are, well... If you're going to call it tech trends have something to talk about that isn't already common knowledge. 3. QuickTime movie ads before the app loads routinely don't load or hang up and crash the app. 4. Uses up battery WAY WAY faster than any other streaming service I've used, probably because of how many stupid things have to display in the app. Ads, upcoming songs, news, etc. took 9% off my iPhone 5c in 15 minutes, pandora and spotify use a fraction of that. 4. You get to hear that ad again. 5. And again 6. The core! Health tips like if you walk 15 minutes a day you'll be healthier! Wow! If only I had known that earlier. 7. There's the same ad again. 8. Now I get to hear a 60 year old lady that laughs at her own stupid jokes give me those "tech tips" again. The tips are common knowledge to the extent I'm wondering when they're going to tell me there's a thing called the internet that I can connect this new-fangled computer doohickey to. I know 7 year olds that can give me better tech tips than that blurb. 9. And that ad again 10. Now I'm listening to the stream and my fully charged phone is at 50% after less than an hour of listening. 11. Tech tips? Buy a radio for $1.99 at your local thrift store and listen to that. It will be a better experience. Plus they'll probably tell you about this new thing called FM radio on "tech trends"
