Minimalist beauty for my messy brain
UPDATE: I am so bummed. The new version is so sad. The graphics are less gorgeous, which is ok I guess, and the decision process takes time, which probably some people find helpful. (Some people like to use the process to figure out what they really want. I do not, but I respect their process.) What crumbles the app’s value, for my ADHD brain, is the ads. Ads are designed to derail the consumer’s train of thought. Some people are fine with this! Some ads are amusing/interesting/useful! But in this context the ads feels like a tiny unpleasant electric zap, and then as I pull myself free, a trickle of focus drains away. It’s really a bummer. I would CHEERFULLY pay for an ad-free version. 😿 I’m putting 3 stars because maybe it’s still better than other apps? The old version deserved infinite stars. ✨ ——— (Review for older version:) Have trouble getting things done because you overthink small decisions until you spiral into paralysis? I do. I’ve tried various decision-making apps, but most of them added clutter to my brain. This one’s gorgeous graphics make using it a pleasure. I’ve been using it almost daily for years. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have space for three options, but then I just lump two of them together (with a subsequent runoff if needed), and figure that’s Good Enough. Which is the whole point of a decision-making app, really. Satisfice, and move on.
