The application allows the user to specify a filter within the application. The filter determines how much the input is smoothed out; this is to filter out spikes from background noise and give a more accurate average reading.

You have to ‘estimate’ the sound in the room before it will measure it and it affects the level. completely unreliable and inaccurate.

It doesn't work the way it should it's not accurate, why do we have to select our environment in order to measure the noise .. piece of crap and waste of money
