Old timer
Although print is gone paper hasn’t missed a beat. I was in military in 1960s at flight school in Alabama and got Sunday edition by Wednesday to keep up with facts of Vietnam war.i also enjoyed monmouth park results during summer.great job guys!

Newer is not always better
I’ve been reading the Star-Ledger since I was a kid, I wanted to continue reading it when I retired to Arizona. Since all my family (and sport teams) are back in NJ i decided to continue the reading experience digitally. Well, the experience is less than optimal in the app. It is extremely quirky . Here are a few of my observations: 1. Slow to load 2. Reloads when being activated from background 3. Will not maintain zoom on first (and most times second) use. A few seconds after zooming, it reverts back to the default 2 page view 4. When iPad is put to sleep, it will reboot even if it was active, and then see number 3 5. In facsimile view, it’s difficult to follow a story continued on other pages - the older versions had hyperlinks to the continuation 6. The lack of ability to follow web links in stories is frustrating. Why have the links if you can’t use them? Is there any way to make this app behave like the older versions? Upgrades are supposed to enhance the experience not make it worse.
