Approximate location (network-based): This is to set up Bluetooth communication. A location is required to acquire the pair.
Photos/Media/Files
Read the contents of your USB storage: This is needed to access the scanned and stored image that the camera takes of the Device Serial Number (DSN).
Camera
Take pictures and videos: Used to scan the DSN.

It doesn’t work at all. It never has. I can’t even use it.

Latest App Update
Latest app update tries to update primary and secondary devices before letting you move on. I never use two devices at a time. Because secondary device isn’t found it takes a lot of time before it errors out. Since you can’t leave the app or move very far away from the machine while downloading, this is a tremendous waste of my time.
