Poor Customer Service and Billing Issues
I am very disappointed with UrbanSitter’s subscription policy. I was charged $39.95 due to an automatic renewal that I did not intend to continue. I tried multiple times to contact customer support, sent emails, and even called their phone number, but no one answers or responds. I requested a refund and cancellation, but I did not receive any clear or helpful response. This charge was made without proper notice, and the lack of customer support makes the situation even more frustrating. The app itself is okay, but the billing practices and poor customer service make it hard to trust. I would not recommend subscribing unless you are extremely careful with automatic renewals.

I’m in Texas and this app feels like a complete scam. I signed up and paid for the membership, but after several months I have not seen a single job or received any messages. There are clearly no active users or parents using this app in my area. What’s worse is that after realizing the app is useless, I contacted customer support to request a refund — and they completely ignored me. No reply, no explanation, nothing. Charging people for a membership when there are no jobs available and then refusing to respond about refunds is extremely dishonest. This app is a waste of money and time. I would strongly advise others not to sign up.
