Good content, poor app
I love everything about the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible except for its size—it’s huge. I’ve wanted a good electronic version, but this isn’t it. To see notes, you must click on each individual verse number, which makes Bible study SO inefficient. Many good Bible study apps work much more smoothly than this one. I’m very disappointed to see such a great resource being hindered by poor app design. Needless to say, I regret my purchase. Hopefully an app redesign will one day change my mind, because it does not seem like the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible will be available in more competent apps in the near future.

Here you can read the Catholic holy scripture,read study notes, choose from 8 reading plans,…and they’ve included a LENT reading plan for meditations and scripture designed especially for the Catholic Lenten Season. However, you’ll have to find Friday Fish Fry on your own. Plus, the app now as AUDIO. This allows you to listen to the the books of the Bible as you read it. Which will help in your learning each chapter you read. BIG THANKS to Scott Hahn and all those involved in preparing this app for us Roman Catholics. May God Bless EVERYONE!! 💫💫💫
